I am a Newbie to HB

Hello everyone! I am a newbie to HB forum. I have been on for about 4 days now, and I have enjoyed all of the posts i have read. I have put in my 2 cents occasionaly. I have been going to Havasu since the 70s and I still visit when my finances will allow. My boat is going thru a total restoration and probably won't be finished until next year, so in the meantime when I go to Havasu, I will be one of those sidewalk boaters in the channel.

Welcome aboard! I did a resto on a 1980 26' Ambassador my damnself. Hell of a fun boat, pretty roomy too, shit you could hold a concert under the bow of those sumbitches. I'll find a couple "before and after" pics and post them.
Now you just have to put the sumbitch in the water!!!!!

Thanx. That would be a big help considering I have to replace the stringers, floor and I reorganized the seating in the cockpit area. I am also replacing the 350ci with a 500hp 454 with a tunnel ram. I can't do too much hp because of the 280 Volvo outdrive.
