Thread: Cover for blower finished!

Thought I would share some pics of the last addition to the boat.
I designed the cover and a friend welded it up, and my Dad painted it to match the rest of the parts done on the boat.
Its aluminum and strong enough to handle a belt getting thrown

I was thinking of going polished but if the sun hit it I thought it might blind someone:idea:
I was going to add vents or slots in it too but I was thinking about the girls in the back seat and there long hair that might not be so long anymore:idea:

mine's vent like a sand sifter, just a bunch of little holes @the size of a toothpick in diameter.i thought alot too about long hair passengers and this one should work ok.my tx-19 is getting close, should be finished as soon as i get the pump parts, build pump and drop in my blown bbc 475. i'll post updated pics in a couple weeks here.
compared to how hard it pulled before blower, how's it pull outta the hole now? does it make full boost quik enough to stay with nitrous boats? trying to talk my wife into buyin me a dual plate system for anniverary if the blower mill lacks enough balls to stay with the no2 boats.

That wasnt included when you had all that super motor work done? Seems with a motor like that and going all that way to have it done it should have been a requirement.

Not sure why I am wasting my time with you but there was allot of work to be done in a short amount of time and some items I wanted to do myself:devil:
