Mine is 175 @idle hot and 130-135 while driving
dunno what the actual temp of my engine is but the water coming out of the water neck is about 110 degrees according to the gauge.
115 or so.
Cold block hot pistons. But only if your clearances are set to handle this. 120
bizzle.
Whats up mike?
nuthin. lol
The water in the rivers up here is usually less than 60 degrees. I'm lucky to get 100 degrees from my temp gauge on most days. I've tried closing the valve down to build heat, but I can only get another 5 degrees tops... the kicker is that when idling with the valve closed this much, the flow is reduced to the point that the engine wants to overheat at anything less than about 1500 rpm. So I just leave it at about 80% open. Its the best I can get without a closed system or rather expensive thermostat kit with bypass flow.
