To store up, or down, this is the question.

So I was told to store my drive in the down position during long periods of no use. I have used the drive savers in the past (those long red, or blue plastic things that go on the rams). So what do you do, and why? Leave it up with the drive savers, or store it down?

It's good to store with the drive in a neutral position. That allows the bellows to be in a straight position without the stress that it would have if bent.

Ditto. I do this. I think it says to do this in the manual. Also has to do with putting less stress on the U-joint. I do this everytime she goes in the garage unless we are taking her out the next day.
