Got her Wet!

Finally got the boat wet Saturday. A little fixin' here and there, and she is ready for Lake Anna, and the rest of the summer boating season. Oh- and not only does the boat float, so does the damn trailer!

Had her out again Thursday and today. Had a lot of porpoising going on Thursday and it seemed to handle a bit loose. Added some "down" to the ride plate and went for a ride today. Still porpoising, but not as bad. Went back home and made up some more shims, and added some more "down" again. I also got around to checking the throttle to make sure I was getting full throttle. DOH! I had the wrong base gasket on under the carb and had no secondaries whatsoever! Went back to the river, and what a difference there is now! Porpoising is pretty much gone, and I can put the diverter up and really kick it now.
