I have an 08 f450 superduty and the engine light came on with less then 2k miles so i took it to the dealer.
It turns out that if you exceed 81 miles an hour that will happen WTF
Maybe it might be a good idea to mention that in the owners manual. now if you have an F250 it is 95mph
guess i will have to get use to driving with the engine light on

Check this out. A guy I worked with bought a truck. Well he found black shoe polish over the check engine light. Guess the owner never got used to seeing it, so he just covered it up. Now Thats funny.

Make sure the Check Engine light is not illuminated. A constantly illuminated Check Engine light is an automatic smog failure. A certified repair shop can diagnose the check engine light condition and offer you an evaluation and estimate. The home mechanic may also diagnose a Check Engine light malfunction via special Check Engine codes retrieval tools, available at most auto parts stores.
