looks great looking forward to the finished resto.
Garrett,
Is that the actual wood for the deck? Or, is
that part of the jig?
I have no idea how wood decks are made. I was
thinking some kind of form was made to shape the
wood. Then after the wood was shaped you attached
the wood to the boat. boxed

I am wondering where they found this boat? I think my old one is still around Phoenix here somewhere.

I found the hull for my dad in Selma, just outside of Fresno. It's a 1966 miller 18 ft. flat.

Curious because that one looks exactly like my old one. It was also a 66 wood deck. Most fun times in that one between 72 and 87 when I let mine go.
Keep us posted on the rebuild!!
Any plans to put a Nailhead in it like most had at that time??
Racing Ray,
The boat we are restoring was an all fiberglass boat. Couldn't be your old boat. We will be posting some pictures soon. The jig is just about done.
The next stage will be restoring the bottom before putting a new wood deck on it. New stringers and flooring along with a carbon fiber keel on the inside for looks.
We plan on putting a small block 383 in it but that may change.
