I need a bigger boat and the COLE is just too small for my family. So, she needs a great home. Let me start by saying, this is a very nice and very clean boat.I cant stress enough how well taken care of its been treated. The boat is a 1988 COLE Star Fire T-deck. She can sit 4 adults just fine or 2 adults and 4 kids. I am the 4th owner of the boat and I have done a few things too her since I have had her, almost a year now.She is a turn key boat, you dont need anything. The gel coat on her is perfect, with just a few small nicks in her.The interior is also perfect, no rips or cracks at all. The carpet is in good shape and still has life left in her.It has a small missing piece along the hull on the drivers side which is not a big deal, its not where you can really see it and its not that big. The boat has a Chrysler 440 with Reward headers(water)and a purple cam in her.The motor is very stock with a small Edelbrock rise intake manifold. The Carb is a Holly 4 barrel. She also has a MSD coil and other small misc high performance parts. The motor sits on a very nice rail kit so if you wanted to change out the motor too a FORD or Chevy, its a piece of cake.It has two tanks on her which hold about 22 gallons of fuel. Their is lots of chrome and overall a stock 440 with a few small upgrades. The boat has a fresh rebuilt Berkley 12JG split bowl pump with a NEW Aluminum A impeller manual place diverter (jet o vator) to give you a nice rooster tail. Also, is a very nice ride plate. This has one weekend on the rebuild. All water plumbing is brand new and let me tell you she runs cool and you wont ever have any problems with overheating. I had a hand valve placed under the seat so you can controll the water flow too the headers without getting burned. I havent done anything else to the boat because she doesnt need anything. My Only plans are to replace the distributor with a better one and thats it. I am willing to take off $250 if you want to buy your own or plan on putting a Chevy in this or a FORD? This is a full stringered boat. All work was done by Tom at Jet Boat Performance and you can call him for a reference if you want one.
The trailer is a Donell tandam with centerline wheels, chrome fenders and a removable tounge. I can tell you right now, it will fit in just about any garage. Its 18 feet long. Everything works on it and the only thing she needs is two bolts to hold the bunks to the frame. This is being pickey and its two bolts on two seperate bunks. I havent replaced them because its only one bolt on a bunk which has plenty of other bolts. The tires are in great shape and have plenty of life in them. I have two connections for a flat pin on big round hook up.
I am selling to buy an open bow jet boat, so the only trade I will do is for a nice open bow jet boat. I am asking $7,000..FIRM. If you want $250 off replace the distributor yourself and thats all I can do. I might part with the motor for a decent offer or sell just the boat no motor with a good offer.
