I'm looking to find two carbs to put on my new motor,
    Chevy ZZ502 bottom end
    305 AFR heads
    9.2 to 1 compression
solid roller cam .685 lift around 250 ish duration
    wieand tunnel ram
I want carbs on this motor to do one thing and that is haul the mail.
    I'm leaning toward 660's.
    Any suggestions.

If it where me, I would go with 750-850 hp type dp with 1 to 1 linkage mounted sideways.
The larger version may be a little trickier (but not too bad) to tune at lower speeds, but will be able to feed you current power requirments, and a few upgrades in the future.
I prefer the sideways mounted carbs with 1 to 1 linkage for best part throttle fuel distribution. In a jet, we spend allot of time cruising under some pretty heavy loads, at 1/3-1/2 throttle. This can flat make a mess out of cylinder to cylinder fuel distribution. A single plane, single carb can be scary at best during part throttle cruising. The sideways, dual carb method is MUCH MORE forgiving than anything else during this part throttle time.
    Well, except for fuel injection!
