I knew a family up at Arrowhead who had one of these Sangers. The deck was completly different thou. That Sanger had one of the nicest wood decks I,d seen. That was the only Sanger I,d ever seen with the sides that flaired out going up to the fill seam. Its name was HERMAN with a blown 427 V-drive of course. They live in LaHabra. I think he owned Johnson Peltier Electrical.

I talked to the owner who likes to water ski in the Delta. He said in the narrow channels it was hard to get it turned around keeping the speed up it needed allot of room. He went and bought a Master craft for skiing.
Didn't Sanger call a big cruiser a Catalina for a while? Wouldnt' surprise me, afterall that's what Pontiac called their big cruisers.....
