That just happened! Shake and Bake!
That boat belongs to my neighbor who is a nice guy. At one time it had a low windshield (like a Sidewinder or Taylor) It has the chrome Sanger script on the gunnel's but I never thought Sanger made this style of boat. Is this the one they called a Catalina? There isn't a HIN on the transom.
Never ever seen a sanger look like that. I think the badge is the only real sanger!
Some friends of mine ran into a guy up here on the Sacramento River back on the 4th of July who was running one of these. He had owned it for approx 29 years. He said the model was "Catalina". Apparently only about a dozen were produced. Here's a couple pics, courtesy of Mrs.P.................

any guesses as to why only a dozen or so were built?
There use to be a yellow and red (mustard and ketchup) one up here in Washington. My Dad sold it to a guy in Seattle. It was set up as a v-drive.
They are called a Catalina. Billy B might remember them. Not sure what Sanger was trying.
Didn't Sanger call a big cruiser a Catalina for a while? THat looks like a boat Lange built called a Eurosport or something for a while.
