It depends on the boat I guess. There are some people that have their boats rediculously priced, then there are others that are priced very well and have much less wiggle room.

If you're not in a hurry to buy wait until fall and winter and keep an eye on boat trader and boat trader online...smokin deals always come up but you have to be patient. I was very patient when I bought and I got mine for almost half of what it was originally offered at. That's my .02

A lot depends upon the boat, and its percieved value. We looked at boats in Boat Trader that the seller wanted far and above the value, because he had gotten all kinds of bling that had no added value in NADA. The boat's rep also has a lot to do with it. If the market is saturated with a particular brand, that brand may go for less because there are five for sale in your area. Some boats are too rare or new to make NADA, and some too expensive for the value, so are too high.
We used NADA values, and we also used the availability of loan packages. If a bank will loan you 90% (or 80%, or 75%, etc.) of the NADA value (that's 10% down, pretty common on a NEW boat, 20% or 25% is more common on USED boats) and the dollar amount they quote is far less than 90%/80%/75% of the asking price, then maybe the asking price is too much.
Add this info to the "soft" market, and realize there are lots of boats out there for sale, and go for what you want. Low blue book is probably a good price to settle at. Incidentally, that's where both mine are priced

You have a very nice boat, but my understanding was there was a very good offer or someone very intrested i'm not sure. Never the less from what i've seen most of the boat of my preference are about that price range plus i'm not in a real hurry. Everyone is saying it's a buyers market just wanted to get input of how much mark off people would be offering and also what people would accept to. It's rediculious for people to be offer 50k for a 80k boat hmmmm or is it lol
I know of a smokin deal on a beautiful Lavey right now if D.A.'s is already sold and you are still looking at fast V's...PM me and I will give you the details

I've been following his posts, and something seemed fishy. He's checking out alright though......Perhaps Havausu is a lake in North Carolina.
