BHC, Willow Beach, Lake Mohave weather alert

At 540 PM PDT National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated an area of strong winds in Mohave County moving toward Lake Mohave. Radar estimates along with a report from the public indicates that easterly gusts to 40 mph are possible between Willow Beach and Laughlin between 615 and 645 PM. Additional storms were also located near Meadview that may contain brief heavy rain and gusty winds. Boaters and others outdoors should be prepared for potentially hazardous conditions through 7 PM.
I never got the wind up here off the Parkway....at least nothing like 40MPH. Anyone else get the strong winds? I was going to go drop the boat and have it in the slip for tomorrow but guess I will hold off until tomorrow. Just in case they still hit.

My buddy just got off the lake and said the wind was picking up.

Uneventfull year so far here in Havasu, with only one good thunderstorm to date.

Just got a brief but heavy rain shower here in Vegas. Pissed that I had the boat uncovered and parked out front though. Still planning a day trip to Willow Beach tomorrow.
