finally got one last night from auto zone.its a 60amp.alt.with one wire.its from a 68 camaro,and the bolt pattern aligns with the 460 ford alt.only have to enlarge the sleve for fords larger bolts.$60.00 with core.
60 amp is plenty steve, your only drawing maybe 15-18amps while its runnin anyways.remember you gotta goose the throttle above 1500 to make it start charging

no,its a auto. tell them its for your car,what ever year,and you get a life time thing.the only time i guess you need a marine, if its enclosed.
