That's a great idea but... I use to date her mom ten years ago. And have never met her in person. This will be the first time... We all know how important first impressions are with females, even ones that are 7... LOL
Not all little girls are the same.
My neice just turned 7 on Wed. She wanted a pink helmet with pink goggles. A electric guitar, and clothes with skulls and crossbones on them.
Any way mabey you could get some ideas from her mom?

I went for the Pink Nintendo DS with 2 games one of them is a Bratz / poney game and the other is a brain game. I think it should make her birthday a happy one. Her mom is real happy too.
