No they don't.
Just had my house done by Chem Dry, Very nice results!
Should add, its nice to come home and have nice dry clean carpets. The few others locally you end up with nice wet clean carpets that the next day kinda smell musty cause of all that water they left behind.
Quoted me $135 for 3 rooms and $14 per foot on the couch although he said he can discount the couch a bit. The couch is about 10 feet long.
Are these prices pretty much in line?

Yeah, that's about right.
We've used them,, they ain't as dry as they lead you to believe. I think one of their main formula ingredients is Club Soda with a little soap
Then they buff.
It still has to dry.
If it's super dirty, the steam method is better.
They told me the worst stains are from Wedding Cake that we get a lot of at our club, and the steam method is better in that case.
Yeah, I have a ton of wedding cake stains on my carpet. I'm pretty hosting a wedding reception at my pad every other weekend.
We use Chem Dry at our club where wedding receptions are almost every Saturday.
The smashing the cake in the face of the bride and groom in the cake cutting ceremony usually results with cake in the carpet.
We had the same problem with it when we had a family wedding reception in our home.
The oil in the cake makes it brutal to remove.
The extraction Stanley steamer method works much better than the buffing Chem dry method.
Had Chem Dry do the primary home and are pleased with the results. Well our stuff ain't really dirty anyway but it was dry.
Fockers showed up and said $145. for the rooms and about $220. for the couch....are they ****ing delerious? :jawdrop: Having them do a rug and three rooms. The rug is 5X7 and it is $20.
$220. for the couch.....lol
