v8 300 hp limited edition

my dad just bought this motor still have not ran it rewiring problems. any help on this engine on what oil to use and any important info would be helpful. all i know is i have never seen one before and it looks heavy and bulky. ive never seen a motor six feet tall before.

Ed, I seen a couple of those at a shop in san diego a few years ago called sillwete(miss spelled) boats by the airport in Santee

i have also seen some of those motors from what i have heard they are good and run standard 2-cycle oil would be my best guess
