This place is awesome. Great for a couple or great for families. Close to town for shopping, dinner and night life. We had a great time last year.

Yes on room service. Not sure about the kids club as we left the kids home last year.
Great resort, we just can't make it this year.
Great beach right in front of the resort that you CAN swim in. Most of the beaches are rocky or too harsh to swim in. This one has a nice private sandy beach.
5 restaurants and a bunch of pools right on the property as well.
Last year when we were there we went:
On a sunset dinner cruise to the arch
Snorkeling and mini submarining
ATV beach riding
parasailing
Too bad it wasn't for later in the year.....You could give it away at the RRX-6 Regatta

Oh, and if you take one of the timeshare presentations you will get a bunch of excursions for free. All of the above ones that I listed I got for $100.00. Totally worth it.
Going to list this thing on eBay in the next day or two for 5 days to see what it brings.

My wife and I love the Hacienda Del Mar.
This is a good deal an a good time to go. Sept is beautiful. Just for a regular room and airfare will run you about $2500.00.
You can get airfare for under a grand.
Airfare is pricing out right now at $326.00/person round trip.
You will spend about $1500.00 in cash on food and fun (unless you drink ALOT!)
If you go to a timeshare presentation you will get: free breakfast, cash, and usually coupons for a bunch of fun stuff.
As I said above I got parasailing for two, atv rides with lunch for two, sunset dinner cruise and show for two, mini submarine and snorkeling with lunch for two and a $100 food voucher for $100.00. (Bought at the airport) Then I went to another timeshare presentation and got free breakfast, $200 cash and round trip shuttle to town.
Make me an offer. It is beautiful down there!
