Thread: how good is this hull?

    i have a laser 240ray 1987 it is 21'10 long and i cant find any info on it OTHER THAN IT WAS MADE SOMEWERE IN TEXAS

    No clue! I would think with the numbers 240 in the model number, it would be 24 feet long though? What gives?

    Wasn't Roark Summerford involved with Laser? I was under the impression that they were fantastic hulls. I've never owned one, though.

    Here in the Dallas area they were a popular boat in it's days. I remember seeing alot of them around the local lakes. I've seen a few of them for sale locally.

    I owned a 19 ft Laser that was fast as all hell with a Merc 2.4 EFI. Ran 92mph all day long.
