Chris and I didn't know each other then but our paths were always crossing as we found out later. Chris's dad always had a blown flatty or some hot boat in the drive way of their house that i'd run up to to ck out. Then when I got hooked up with Chris a couple years ago he remembered my dad and our boat that we'd run on the lake. Small world this boating community. Chris is a cool dude who i'm glad to now call a friend. By the way Chris.....Not only the "BOLT NAZI", but Jana is also calling you out. She'll even spot you a couple of lenghts.:idea:

ZRCTION, you`ve got two nice looking rides there. Matching colors too. We`ve sorta got something in common. My red texas tunnel jet matches my red ZR-1. I drove the vette to see George Jones saturday night and the boats going to the Litchfield, Il. race this weekend. Is`nt it nice?
That's just me smiling next to Chris' boat. I tried to buy the mouse from Chris but he said there is no way he could sell it. So, I bought my own. Unfortunatly its not yellow, maybe someday.
As for the vette, I waited a long long loooong time for that car. What a amazing car. Went to The Bluewater Casino a couple weeks ago, heading north on Az. 95 out of Erinburg I cruised at 110mph and the on-board computer showed I was getting 23mpg! Round trip turned in an avg. 26.3mph. There were a few 145-150mph bursts but mostly cruised at 80.

This was probably one of the most exciting days of my adult life. Except for the day I got married, my son was born and I picked up my Z06.
I watched this boat kill everything it ran against on Bass Lake back in the late 70's and early 80's. Never knew the guy who drove it boat in our young minds he was a legend.
Last year, just by chance my brother was talking to a guy about a boat that used to dominate the area "Church Mouse, 003". That guy (Chris Blevins) says "I'M THAT GUY"! You remember the mouse! Shortly after I made a trip up the mountain, met Chris and he took me for a ride in his pride and joy.
Because of him and another close friend I just purchased my first v-drive last night. It will make its home at Bass Lake, cruis'n and hang'n at the falls.

I grew up on Bass Lake and was wondering how the water level is in Sept? Also, I heard word that they have a speed limit on the lake now?

hey dogball, they start letting the water out after labor day, only speed limit is 3 weekends a year, memorial, the 4th of july and labor day, other than that its balls to the walls, Billy B. wants to bring some of that circle stuff up after needles, hope it happens, you better get ready Jana, see ya, the Mouse, P.S. good luck with your Barron ZRCTION

I wouldn't say a blank stare. More like a :jawdrop: . The blank stare came when I saw what caused the clankitty clank in the engine. And it wasn't broken, just a little bruised. It's all good nowNow I've got my own boat to break.
