I'm working on a project boat and it came with the outdrive trim, steering, trim tabs, and engine hatch all running off the same hydraulic system. The guy I bought it from said he could never get it all to work and said I needed a larger reservoir. I asked and was told a new reservior would run about $500, kind of high even by boat standards I thought. I don't have any experience with this, so my questions are is this set up right? will the larger reservoir solve my problem? would I be better to go electrical with the engine hatch? Any suggestions or comments would be appreciated.

I Know The System You Have Was Made Dana Marine Prod. I Dont Think It Runs The Steering, Just Trim, Hatch, Tabs. It Should Have One Comp. To Run The System Off Of One Trim Pump. I Dont Know If This Helps You I Need To Know A Little More About The Problem.
