Nope never.
Has anybody heard of a 22-25 foot v-drive cat before? If so how did it run?

Biggest I've ever seen was the Cougar MTR's 21'.. I know There was a couple of 19 - 21' Eliminator Daytonas that were rigged as a V-Drive as well. To my knowledge they all ran good!
Lots of time and money in setup etc.. though.
Infomaniac on here has a v-drive cougar, might want to hit him up.. Unchained has a V-Drive daytona as well.

I wonder why ? If they work good in 21ft cats why they wouldnt work in something a little bigger. It seems maybe a good alternative to the more exspensive drives.

PM fastsanger he has a v drive daytona. Ran good at CFW two years ago.
I'd love to see pictures of the set-ups, as I have never seen a v-drive cat.
I wonder if it could be trimmed correctly?
can a V-drive be trimmed... or create lift?
Liberator has made 20ft and 21ft V-drive cats. They haul ass!

I would think that your prop (and centerpod) would be too high on a larger cat.
I had a neighbor in Parker that built a 24 Daytona with a V Drive and big power and it simply did not work, would not carry the nose. After working on the setup for 2 years gave up and converted to an outdrive.
