slowinhavasu was telling me about someone he knew, pm him, maybe he can give you a number for his buddy.
My bimini is too tall. The new SportDecks come with a lower profile bimini top. I would like to chop mine down at least 8 to 10 inches. Does anyone know someone preferably in Havasu that can do this?

i hope so, i need to modify mine too...I pretty sure it can, not sure on the tool requirement just yet, probably need some crimpers of some sort
They made mine shorter by sewing in another fabric panel which spread the bars out more making it lower. I have more shade coverage now because of it.
Where do you live PPC??
Take it over to Tammys in Havasu. They do excellent work and know how to set up your bimini for a really good price. I took the advise of the people here and couldn't be happier.

Don't go too low, ducking down everytime you walk around your boat is annoying after a while (not to mention a pain in the back after a long weekend.)
Give Mike Willen a call, maybe he can help.
