Hey, I am looking for a set 15's for my c 500. I have a set of 22's, but they are to high for my application. any leads would be great .

I have a 77 Sanger mini day and I am trying to get the prop and gear set. I have run three diffrent props with little speed change. I have a bbc, bored 60, 9.5:1 compression, forged polished crank, open chamber rectangular port heads, tunnel ram with 660 center squirter carbs, approx. 500 horse. I have a velvet drive and c 500 box. I have run a 12x 16 and could only turn at wot 4200 rpms. I ran a 11.5x15 and ran wot 5200 rpms. I just ran a 11.5x14 at 5500 rpms. Although my rpms are higher my speed has changed very little.
I would like to run wot at 5800/6000 rpms at approx. 70' mph. I did not build this boat to go 100 mph and i am realistic about its performance. right know I am only able run approx. 53 mph and I am told I need 15 gears arther than the 22's i currently have. Dose this sound right???

sangerdave, any pics. I also have a 78 mini day sanger. I need to gps and quit wondering how fast I am running. I have a paragon with fwd and rervs. 10 deg casale. Im not sure what gears. I will probably go through the casale this winter since I have to replace the prop shaft. Im running a 454 blower motor.
