My wife and I are moving to Norman OK! This will be a VERY big change for us, since we both have spent our whole lives in North Dakota. We are both extremely excited to be starting a new life in OK. I just got into jet boats about 2 years ago. I am wondering where the "hot spots" would be around that area, I really need to find some places and peeps to hang out with. Any input welcome. Thanks,
    Nate

you will probably want to join the OKC jet boat association. Quite a few fast boats here and several places to hang

    Hey Nate,
I think you'll find the boating a lot better down here than in ND. The lakes up there are probably much cleaner, but the one's down here aren't frozen 1/2 the year.
Let the Taylor guys know you're headed to Norman, as there are a good bunch of guys that live there and would probably be more than willing to give you the tour. OK and AR have a ton of lakes, and most of them are great places to boat. WHat's bringing you down to Norman?

My wife is already there, we are renting a duplex on the west side of Norman. I will be there in 2 weeks. Kendra's career has brought us to OK (environmental, safety, health specialist), working in the petroleum industry. I'm really looking forward to meeting some new people and seeing another part of the country. I will, however, miss snowmobiling. I guess I need a substitute . Dirt bike maybe:idea: The Biesemeyer is most certainly coming with. Nothing really special, but it runs pretty strong.

TX is only a hop & skip from OK. We plan on spending some time in Midland this summer. I've been told it's a pretty nice place.
