    There was an article in the Californian about one here in Bakersfield that gets covered by the Travel Channel. Not sure you'd want to come this far, but I guess he spends more on makeup alone than most HHs spend on the whole thing. Might be worthwhile if you are into that kind of thing.

    The Haunted Hotel
    4th and Market St. Gaslamp District, San Diego
    Haven't been but looks like a good one, hotels down there a very old and most of them look haunted.

    The Queen Mary Shipwreck is always fun. Partially because they have a fully stocked bar The mazes are well put together as well.

    I checked out the Shipwreck, but we're taking our 12 year old and the Shipwreck looked to more suited for adults with the bar and dance floors. Plus the 15 bucks to park, the 20.00 admission ticket and 7 bucks on each ticket for service.
