Why would it take 10 to 15 years to replace conventional tires?

Inventory, and to replace the tire....you have to replace the rim as well. Wonder if they make them in 24's?

I call on the R&D people in Greenville. The rims would not be replaced. The delay is in sufficient safety testing, achieving acceptable wear, and handling / ride at highway speeds.

As long as they don't wear out the rim.
They better test those out for about 10 years first.
