700 pluss for a four banger. I know it's a diesel. Dang that is heavy. So how many hours will they get out of it. Oh you might be spamming as well and some one will rip you a new one, for the free plug on a motor. Not like I care. I don't think you will see one on any pleasure craft any time soon. Must taste bad on a ski and rope.

Looks interesting. Are you involved with the project? Looked at the specs, but no power/torque listed...says equivalent to 225hp or 300hp...what does it really make?
Also, 3800rpm and 1.75 gears...that's going to be pretty slow unless you run REALLY big props. For comparison, the Merc 3.0's run 1.75's (and 1.62's) and turn 6000-6700rpm.
Bosch common rail system? CP3 pump? Which one 112cm3? Being in the diesel performance industry for the past 8 years, I'd love to have a look. Weight is up there for a small performance boat, but about on par for the new 4 strokes. The new Yamaha 300/350hp V8 4-strokes are over 800#.
