I just read the full page ad bashing outerlimits and a few others,who FOCKING cares.I wouldnt buy one of the boats just on their advertising .Are they any good?We are west coast.I know east coast is a bit different,I cant stand the company just on the bragging alone

The Outer Limits I took a ride on ran so much better through the big stuff. Mine only ran hard topped out on trim. The Limits ran good everywhere...

What makes Fountains fast for their size is that they are smaller than most. Take away the beak & the swimstep, and they have around a 4' smaller running surface than most comparable boats (Cig, OL). Lower decks also take away weight.
So, smaller and lighter means good numbers for the advertised size, but seemed to be a disadvantage in the bigger water.
I've never owned one, just ridden in them.
My toaster is really starting to piss me off. As I crank up the darkness setting, it goes from dry bread to burnt toast in a couple of degrees rotation of the dial. http://www.***boat.com/ubb/mad.gif
