Stumbled across this picture which I knew I had somewhere.
This is the oddly named "Rat Shack" of the Grande Prairie River Rats Club about 6 hours north of us. Building permits can be obtained for non profit clubs to build on Gov't land on the river. This is their "club house" about 30 miles down the Wapiti and then back up the Smokey River. Not too bad I'd say! Built on an Island too, only acessable by riverboat. Very cool
I always envisioned alot more of a "shack" haha

So, what does it cost to join? Yearly dues?.........On an island, cool, sorta prevents the Mounties from sneaking up on you huh...........Not that you or your group would have anything to hide. You know, Brown and Kim both have boats.........Beware................MP
