I'm having my motor rebuilt by a friend of a friend/mechanic and was wondering what you guys thought about the warranty. I think 20 hours seems reasonable. Any thoughts?
    BTW, its a late 70s 455.
    Thanks,
    Mike

IF HE GIVES ANY WARRANTY,THE GUY HAS BALLS! I'VE BUILT MARINE ENGINES FOR FRIENDS AND TELL THEM ONCE IT HITS THE WATER WARRANTY IS OVER!!! AS A BUILDER, I CAN'T WARRANTY A OVER REVED,OVERHEATED OR "RACED ENGINE".I'LL GO TO THE LAKE AND TUNE-IT FOR EM BUT THAT'S THE END OF MY RESPONSIBILITY. SO I THINK HIS 20 HR WARRANTY IS VERY REASONABLE!!
