    Very nice looking boat you have! I have heard and seen of a few Mako's, what is the story on them? Are they a splash of Cole's and Hondo's? There is obviously history with this boat, so they do run well? I am just dreaming of a future toy

    Sorry, gotta save those for the blown-injected alcohol piece that we're going to throw in it. Those Dan Olson zoomies are the best looking zoomies on the market, in my opinion.

    Basically, all runnerbottoms are a splash of the original Hondo...but they're all different. The Mako boats were built by the Ermshars out of Riverside, CA. Don still runs the "Mako Force" TAF, and I think Andy Dement's "Red Alert" TAF is a Mako. They're a light boat, so lake use is pretty much out of the question...they also have a longer deck than any other runnerbottoms.

    Ready is an understatement. I'm chomping at the bit. Looks like we'll have to drive to Texas in April for the SDBA season opener.
