Small reward for all the hard work

[Unchained]

Seeing that picture of Don Garlits brought back an old memory.
I seen him in the pits decades ago when he raced at a strip here in Mi.
I noticed he walked with a bit of a limp, come to find out 1/2 his foot was blown off several years before in a front engine dragster when the clutch blew.
In those old front engine dragsters their balls were right up against the rear axle and that didn't look safe to me either.
