Yes Dave @ Legend was involved but most
of the design and Development was done at
Team Scarab by Warren Robbins and since
there were only TWO people at team scarab
I had my grubby hands in it to.
The Original SCARAB Jet Pump was a new
design with a all new Intake, My boat
still has one of those intakes but I
Made a adaptor ring so I could use a
Legend Bowl and Impeller.
I will try to send some Photos from my
Office computer and if you would please
post them.

The pump now less efficient in converting impeller flow to nozzle flow velocity?

If you want to send me the photos of your jet pump, I'll be glad to post them for you. I am interested to see if it is the same intake as mine. Because mine is also the original intake but has a black ring with the Legend pump attached to it. I am not sure who did the work but when I bought the boat, it was already modified. I'll also be interested in seeing a picture of the original bowl (if you still have pictures of it). Any rate here is a picture of mine.

Yup, the 4.3 V6, it runs great and I can get it to around 48 mile/hour, but can certainly use MORE POWER. I don't think I can fit a 350 in there since I only have about 4 or so inches before I hit the gas tank.
