if somethings not broke sa they say, then why fix a good thing. had a avenger with a bow tank, the buyer thought it was the safest thing for his kids. the only down side, lots of weight ih the wrong place.
I have a 72 18' wreidt with a BBO that up to this spring was drinking from it's factory fuel tank under the bow by my feet (neat looking built in fiberglass tank).
As I am planning to sell her this summer after I get it all dialed in, I was thinking, If I take the factory fuel tank out and instal a new 12 gal fuel cell will this make it hard to sell? because of the modification to the factory tank cutting it up. or will it matter.

the tank is weeping through the fiberglass and the sender is bad . it's also a built in part of the factory tank.
