This is my first boat. It's an old miller flatbottom in need of help. The hull is in good shape. No damage or stress cracks. The white paint that was on it was brushed on gel coat, so it took a lot of sanding and fairing in to remove it and get ready for paint. My dad has been a tremendous help working on it with me between other jobs he has been doing. My brother and I posted his work on the wood deck miller and 19 foot miller v-bottom under user name garrett. My dad's user name is johnmiller. I changed my name to 63 miller cause I now have a 63 miller.

birch floors installed. from the stringers inward is black gelcoat. We sanded the stringers inward after this picture and installed carbon fiber. I thought I had a picture of the carbon fiber installed. I'll take a picture this weekend and put it on the thread
Lookin good, nice job on the paint.
True to the Miller name and rep. lookin very nice.Keep us posted.
Garrett,
Did your dad ever sell the wood deck one? I went and drove it. IT was awesome. I ended up buying a 20 Schiada SS with an outboard. But, if it wasn't for the girl and the kid, I would have bought his boat for sure.
Is your dad building another one? When I was there he was just finishing up the red 19 v-drive.
Your boat is looking great.
That looks NICE!!!

Picture of the carbon fiber installed. This weekend we got the rails cut, polished and installed. Still a ton of stuff to do. But it has been lots of fun.

Somebody in Sacramento is buying it. If I had kids I would probably be thinking of getting something that can handle rougher water to. Good luck with your new schiada!
