I think it is a black thing.....I lost everything for Powell when he made a statement last week that he would not be where he was without Affirmative Action. If any one knows anything about the military, you are not promoted in quotas based on race, gender, religion, etc....it's all accomplishments and education. So no AA there. Pres. Bush is not mandated under affirmative action to appoint a black man......so what job did he get under AA? I used to respect him but when he sold himself short by making this statment then endorsing the far left I lost all respect........
