ok guys here is what happened, running the boat yesterday and all was fine. making one more pass about 3/4 throttle about 5500. when it felt like it dropped one cylinder and was only running on 7, right after the loss of power on the left bank (drivers side) I heard a tick, tick, tick sound not very loud just there and it as running bad. shut it down and put it on the trailer, my pops told me to pull the valve cover and look for a loose roller rocker or something along those lines, did not find anything. Checked all the springs and inner springs seem to be ok, only thing I did notice is that the roller for #1 cylinder adjuster is adjusted different than all the others (see picture below)

More info is needed. What kind of cam? hydraulic, solid, roller, hyd roller... Maybe a dead lifter, stuck or bent valve.
If that rubber line is your fuel line,, that straw might not be enough and starved it to the point of being lean.
    Dont know without more info
    good luck to ya

Take your oilfilter apart and look for metal particles and that could tell you what happened.
If you have particles in your filter and they are of the steel type the you probably lost a lube on the cam.
