After a long process of deliberation, the U.S. Coast Guard has finally ruled that....."when beyond the narrow limits of swimming, surfing or bathing areas, the device known as a "paddleboard" is a vessel under 46 U.S.C. 2101, and therefore subject to applicable regulations administered by the U.S. Coast Guard and its Office of Auxiliary and Boating Safety unless specifically exempted." Boy, I'm glad they cleared that up! Now all I have to do is decide where to mount the running lights and horn!
