Thread: Pump Gas-What is it?

Have seen/read lots of articles on motors making serious HP on "pump" gas. Some of these articles mention the octane rating of the "pump" gas used but...I've never been able to buy that stuff at the local gas station. I use 76 110 that I pump out of a 55 gal drum, is that "pump" gas? What do you guys consider "pump" gas?

Pump gas is the stuff that you can buy at any old gas station. It is the most readily available fuel source for the masses.

So 91octane? or is it 92octane becuase only 1 brand of gas runs 92.. Since all 91 octanes are not created equal.. Which 91 is it? http://free.***boat.net/ubb/wink.gif
