My boat needs a makeover......

I have a 1989 21'Checkmate openbow that needs a new paint job. Does anyone know of a good shop in so. cal or havasu area? What is involved in the process? Do I need to remove the interior, motor and hardware? How long does it usually take? Ballpark costs?
Any info will be appreciated.....

Never seen his shop but a lot of his work is on this site. Check with Billy B. I needed some advice and gave him a call. Seems to know his shit. Great looking jobs been posted here. Probably worth the drive.

My boat ws gelcoated my Havasu Barney and I'm very happy with it.
Billy B is the man when it comes to painting boats. I saw a ton of killer paint jobs at last sundays v drive deal that were done by Billy.

I would think anyone will need to see the boat to give you a cost. Every boat's different and will need different amounts of prep work.
