Nice pics of the Sonic.
So, how are those boats? I don't know much about them.

The yellow one with the bimini is mine. I love it, its solid, takes on the big stuff and asks for more. 75 mph with twin HP 500 efi's, full cabin, micro ,tv/vcr ,stereo/cd player , refrigerator ,2 sinks ,flush potty, tons of head room. The guys from Outdrive Exchange crawled into every orofice of my boat putting a new stereo in and he said he liked it. A true offshore V built in Florida to run in the ocean.I cant say enough good things about mine i guess

Way to go E! Nice pics.
SO what is everyones opinion on advantages and disadvantages of a v vs a cat?
The cost of insurance
Make sure you get a V that has race technology if you want it to handle at high speeds! My V bounces people around a little more in Havasu chop than my cat at did. But when it's too rough for the cat my V kicks butt. You have to decide if you want a cabin or not as starters. And have $4000 a year for the insurance cat gods. I always liked the handling of my cat but I want the versatility of very rough water and ocean Catalina trips. Give us some details on your idea of boating.
What cat did you have Faster? Make, model, length, power?
97 American Offshore 26 454mag bottom end with good heads, cam and intake. ProCharger M1 at 7.5#s, XR drive. Best ever was 102mph. 350hrs of blown fun and still running hard when I sold it April 04.
