So what does something like that cost to fix?
Leading the race in St. Louis, running away from the field and looking good for the win....until... eek!

The car was rear ended in pit lane earlier. What you see is a piece of carbon fiber from the front wing of the car that hit us jammed into the rear gearbox seal...pissed all of the oil out and she no worky no more... frown
So what does something like that cost to fix?
You'd probably want a written estimate.
Sorry, Burb. frown
Boozer:
So what does something like that cost to fix? About $100.00 for the seal eek! and approximately $30,000 in parts for the gearbox - nothing survived.
Add to that the $100,000 we didn't get for winning the race and if that is the difference between winning the championship or not then tack on another $1,000,000...
It would apear that it is time to build a gaurd to prevent this from hapenning in the future!

Kentucky race this weekend. Bumpy as hell and the track has been ground since anyone ran on it so who knows what it will be like, previous setups may not be the way to go.
We've been the fastest cars at every track this year except for Texas (missed the setup a little) and should be leading the championship by light years.
No guarantees in this business...
