cool pix! thanks.
Ok, so I stopped by Renegade at lunch today to scope out the dual jet deal they are working one. I guess I missed it with the engine in it. Was in for mock up but was back out when I was there. Anyway, the last pics I posted sucked so I though you might enjoy these.
If you don't like big pics, well to bad, I do.
As you can see this is a pretty big boat. Never mind the old shop trailer. It's got a nice trailer waiting.
You can see just how deep this sucker is by the transom shot.
Bowls.
I guess it's getting a slick billet cover for the gap. I didn't see it but hear they look real nice.
Intake is an R&D Marine peice.
Gear box is water cooled too.
Thanks to www.hotboatpics.com for hosting these pics.
cool pix! thanks.
Here's a look at the test engine #1.
A marine power 496.
Bone stock right out of the crate.
I like that it's wide and deep. What's up with that pitot tube hangin off the transom? It will cost 2-3mph. What does Harold estimate the top speed to be?

I like it... but I agree, if your going to the extent of dual drives, spend the extra money and get a GPS speedo, might come in handy when testing and stuff. I like the hull, hope it runs out good, I have interest in something like that... Just not an outdrive fan, love the jets.

That definitely looks pretty interesting!! Hope it runs well. What are they hoping to eliminate or gain by adding dual jets. Do you know who designed the gear box? Looks pretty sweet!!
Great pics, Dave.

The geabox was designed by Gary Smith of Gear Manufacturing, Inc. The Dual Drive system works great. I've driven some of the boats that have it, and they really perform great. Jetfan.
from the cost of two pumps,... how much more do you actually get out of it!! help me understand.
How are they going to seal around the two pumps?
