Sounds like you guys did a great job, not bad for your first one.
Our crew was called to an OB call on a woman who was 9 months prego and had been to the hospital this morning and they told her she wasn't ready yet. Well right after she got home she was ready.
When we came in the baby's head was sticking out so we got all our stuff ready to go and about 10 min later there was a healthy 7.5 lb baby girl. Everyone did a great job and everthing went well.
In nearly 20 years in the fire service this was my first baby.

thats got to be a great feeling!!!!!!!!
Congrats!!!!! When I was in EMT school, we were getting ready for our final at his house when his neighbor went into labor and delivered right there in his living room!!!! After hearing the story, they waived us having to the "childbirth" practical!!!
It is a great feeling to know that, huh!!!

Congratulations...what a way to start a week.

Having done both, I'd still rather make one than deliver one!
