My mother e-mailed me and out of the blue asked me what a "wet willy" was eek! ...I told her I thought it was when someone licks their finger and then flicks your ear or pokes their wet finger in your ear...
...and now she wants to know where the term came from...I have NO IDEA , so I turn to the more educated crowd here at ***boat for some answers. Somehow I knew I'd get some 'wet willy' as in 'wet weenie' replies. but hopefully someone will know the answer or have something that sounds good to appease my mommie dearest.

I searched the internet and all I could come up with was, skateboards, tennis shoes, music and this....

However, I think your idea of the finger thing was pretty accurate.
