Yes, there is a Skate park at the park in Thompson bay. I think its Rotary park. When i was a 6 monther at the Islander my boys would ride there all the time.
My son wants to know if there any cool skate board parks in town, any one know of any? Hopefully close to the bridge.

yes it is in the south side of Rotary Park. Alot of the local kids take the place over. Just hang with your kid and he will have a blast
Thanks for the info, I will check that out.

Oh,,,, One of those locals only things
Skate Park = drainage ditch and a broom. :crossx:
On a similar note for you Parker folks, we have one here in town.
Pretty nice with a half pipe, scrapers, ramps, etc.and well maintained. Just a block away from my house.
By calling them "Scrapers",...do you mean rails???
Does the park have any bowls or some decent cement tranys,...and what type of coping?
going to be in parker in a couple of weeks, wondering if i should bring my skate.
Does Johnny Yuma patrol the park like the so. cal parks?
Thanks
Todd
Yep. Rails.
When I was a kid we didn't have no stinkin' skate parks. We had to find drained pools and concrete drain pipes. No uruthane wheels. We ripped on clay. When Cadillac Wheels came out in the early 70's, we though we'd died and gone to skate heaven.
I'll get some pictures of the park for you.
Who the heck is Johhny Yuma?
Believe it or not (Johnny Law) (Johney Yuma?) is probibly the same guy? In Aliso Viejo the police show a really strong presence. No local only stuff all the kids are really cool! AND REALLY HELPFULL.
