To all those interested in participating in the 2006 Bluewater Resort & Casino '300' Enduro set for October 21, 2006, the 2006 Official Rules are now up at www.boatracingfacts.com
This a "Run What U Brung" 300 mile Enduro where "No Boat shall be left behind" (16' to 22'), so Flats, V's, Semi, Jets, I/O, production ski boats, the family ski boat, etc.....are all welcome to participate. This is how it was done at the first Enduro in 1963 and again in 2005 and now 2006!

Too bad outdrives are so week. They might have a chance in a race like this one... V-drives have always been the way to victory!

Max. Outdrives week(sp?). Have you ever gone to a ski race? How about a marathon ski race boat with 1200+ hp and a speedmaster or twin IMCO SC drives. Not to weak if you ask me...

Naw just a fact... never thought to much about out drives. Most chief mechanics that work on them are kinda bald & middle aged n shiat! Hey but have a nice time boating & you should stop by october 21st to check out the podium...

Maximus, been on the podium for a past Parker Enduro, and I used a V-Drive! I was also there the year an inboard won with a Jag engine & #3 Speedmaster. I've got a lot of respect for the outboards, especially in the days when the factories showed up. I've held the overall Catalina Ski Race record with outdrives (driver, not skier)and the one way record with a V-drive. I've driven jets, but don't have much experience with them, I think that technology is lagging behind. But you better believe I'll be on the beach when you race by...

Maxi, you are right about how much fun it can be. After many years of ski racing (always fun) I did the Parker 7 Hour in one of our ski boats and it was the greatest. Its not a bad spectator sport either...
