Thread: Earthquake!

    Freak
Virginia had a trimmer this afternoon. 4.5 on the Richter. I was in Advance auto parts and the floor started moving and all the racks in the isle started swaying. People didn't even notice. I said " I think we are having a earthquake" and they looked at me like I was nutz.

Now you know what it's like living on the fault line. They say that there's a good chance of a major earthquake taking place on the east coast (eastern Canada had one some years back as I recall).
By the way, there's all kinds of trimmers - here's one:

And then there's tremors like this:

MMD – you didn’t take into account the VA accent. Trimmer = tremor.
Anyway. 4.5 an earthquake?!. That’s a small fart.
Ask our friends in Northridge and Frisco about earthquakes. It ain’t an earthquake until buildings start crumbling.

The risk we take living in the land of sunshine.
By the way the San Andreas Fault is well over due. It releases energy about every 150 years in the southern section, the last release in the southern section 1857. 1906 since the SF earthquake that released energy from the Northern section
