Just curious, how is it wakeboarding behind a Magic or Conquest Deckboat?

GOOD IF its anything like behind our MACH22 its almost WAKELESS! there isnt much of a wake at all at the 20-25 MPH. Awesome to ski behind though. The water that comes out of the tunnels looks like two giant jets of water shooting at you. Diffinitley better than having to own a comp boat!

Since the hull on these boats is not a true cat, I am not sure how the wake is. Anyone else?

On our Mach 26's there was very little wake. Just like Tobtek stated.

My Magic has the same bottom and leaves a very flat wake, even at low speeds, as long as it's on plane. Good for slalom skiing, but I would think kinda boring for a wakeboard if you like to do air tricks. I would recommend some sponson or tunnel tabs and a small prop to help keep the thing on plane at wakeboarding speeds. With a 28" prop and no tabs, my boat struggles at low speed, depending on weight. Tabs are definitely in my future when the kids get old enough to board.

Wakeboarding behind a cat SUCKS!!! No wake to hit! If you want to water ski, it is perfect. If I am on a wakeboard, I want to catch air. Riding, to me, is boring and gets old real quick. Without a wake, there is nothing to do.
